Assorted Projects:
Internal & External Communication

University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education & Hotel, Fall 2021 - Spring 2026

While the opportunity does occasionally arise to work on larger-scale projects at the Georgia Center, a lot of my tasks focus on designing new pieces for specific events or updating older jobs within a relatively short time. Here are some assorted projects that showcase my ability to work with a tight deadline.

Triboard Poster

The Hotel division’s concierge employees are traditionally placed in charge of advertising the Georgia Center during freshman orientation, and they requested an update to match their previous tri-board display to the new visual style (which you can read more about here). In addition to overhauling the display's graphics, the content also changed from what was once a dedicated orientation tri-board into a multipurpose display. This made it suitable for promoting continuing education courses and conferences in addition to the hotel and restaurants, giving it a bit more usability.

Luncheon Poster

The Human Resources division of the Georgia Center put in a request for a summer camp-themed poster advertising their annual Employee Appreciation Luncheon & Awards Ceremony. Since the only guidance I got was the inclusion of two stock images on the job ticket, I took the opportunity to try a new photo-realistic approach, combining perspective grids in Illustrator and texture in Photoshop for a look that was fun while still using brand fonts and colors.

A stock image of summer camp banners being hung on both sides of a cabin doorway. They collectively read "Welcome Camper."

HFIM Spotlights

The Georgia Center has recently pivoted to supporting the Hospitality and Food Industry Management program from the College of Agricultural & Environmental Sciences through a series of new building renovations. These necessitated two things: posters for a photo wall that highlighted HFIM students interning at the Georgia Center, and official student profiles demonstrating their prowess that could be handed to potential donors. Both of these were requested as top-priority jobs by the Director’s Office, so I created templates for both that used a more academic UGA look versus the Georgia Center’s bold, hospitality-centered visual system.
